CONTESA DEL SECCHIO

In the city of Sant'Elpidio a Mare, a few km from Girasole camping village, there is the reenactment of the "CONTESA DEL SECCHIO".
The cittadian wear medieval clothes reliving the splendor of its ancient and glorious past. It can relive an exciting show, extraordinary, full of sounds and ideas. Starting from the impressive historical procession, with over one thousand participants through the streets of the old city to the playing field: the nobles in their sumptuous robes, to the common people, the armed to the musicians who with their trumpets and drums mark the martial step (recall the big event) and ending with the engaging frame of the amazing evolution of the flag wavers.
